-empyre- wishes to thank our guests for August, Trace Reddell, john hudak,
Glenn Bach, John Kannenberg, and tobias c. van Veen for your very generous
contributions to the discussions on your sound practices,  which sensorially
and theoretically opened up  the arena of  microsound to a wide and
appreciative audience. We hate to stop the conversation here, however the
month has ticked over, and hope that the discussions generated will continue
via a back channel. Thank everyone for your participation.

As several people have asked, the archives this month's discussion are
availabe to view online or downoad at

near future be available at the Rose Goldsen Archive, in the Division of

All -empyre- discussions will be archived for posterity in the Rose Goldsen
Archive which  serves as a research repository in the study of the emerging
practices in  new media art with emphasis on digital interfaces and
